In the heartlands of Odisha, India, where access to quality eye care remains a challenge for many, Project Netra 2019 stands as a beacon of hope. From September 22nd to September 28th, 2019, our dedicated team embarked on a transformative journey aimed at restoring vision and transforming lives.
Partnering with Trilochan Netralaya since 2014, the Vision Mission has been steadfast in its commitment to serving the community. Through our collective efforts, we have witnessed remarkable milestones, including the sponsorship of over 6000 free surgeries. But our mission goes beyond surgeries alone.
We've worked tirelessly to establish clinics, implement Tele-ophthalmology services, and provide essential training in optometry, refraction, glaucoma, and surgical processes. Moreover, we've delved into specialized areas like oculoplastics and diabetic retinopathy management, ensuring comprehensive eye care for all.
In 2019, our resolve only strengthens. With a vision of touching more lives, we are proud to sponsor an additional 1000 free cataract surgeries. Additionally, we're fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange through the Singapore-Odisha Ophthalmology Meet 2019, uniting experts to further elevate eye care standards.
