A Heartfelt Exploration into Kenya's Healthcare Landscape
Embarking on our inaugural expedition to Africa, The Vision Mission team recently embarked on a profound journey to Kisii, Kenya. Led by Dr. Dan Kiage, we were warmly welcomed by the local team, including esteemed members Dr. Jayant Iyer, William Plum, and Dr. Chitaranjan Mishra.
Our mission was clear: to understand the unique healthcare needs of the region and explore avenues where we could extend our services. This recce trip provided invaluable insights into the challenges faced by the community, particularly in managing diabetic retinopathy (DR). With determination and compassion, we aim to pioneer Kenya's first DR management program, among other initiatives.
In our maiden voyage to Africa, The Vision Mission immersed itself in the vibrant culture of Kisii, Kenya. Guided by our commitment to service and empathy, we connected with the local team to assess healthcare requirements. Our vision is to establish sustainable solutions, starting with Kenya's inaugural DR management program.
Join us in our journey to make a difference. Together, we can transform lives and build a healthier future for communities in need.
