Partnering for Vision Restoration in Western Odisha
Since 2014, The Vision Mission (TVM) has collaborated with Trilochan Netralaya (TN) in Odisha, aiming to combat curable blindness. Over five years, 6000 free cataract surgeries were sponsored, alongside initiatives like Tele-Ophthalmology and Diabetic Retinopathy screening. Educational programs and continual medical education sessions were conducted to empower local healthcare professionals.
Project Netra's impact extends beyond surgeries, encompassing education and empowerment. With the sponsorship of 1000 cataract surgeries in 2018, TN-TVM continues its mission to eradicate curable blindness. The annual CME session and clinics serve as pillars in enhancing eye care accessibility and quality in Odisha.
