Bringing Clear Vision to Meghalaya ,Collaborations between TVM and Bansara Eye Care.
In October, our journey to Shillong marked a significant milestone as we embarked on our first endeavor in Meghalaya – Project Khmat, a collaboration with Bansara Eye Care. Led by the expertise of TVM India founder, Dr. Raghuraj Hegde, and esteemed Glaucoma Specialist, Dr. Maneesh Singh, our team delved into the heartlands of Shillong from 3rd to 7th October.
The cornerstone of our initiative was the Continuing Medical Education (CME) event held at the Asian Confluence, focusing on Glaucoma, Oculoplasty, and Cataract. Months of meticulous planning between TVM and BECC culminated in a well-attended symposium, drawing ophthalmologists from various eye hospitals across Meghalaya.
Dr. Maneesh Singh spearheaded the Glaucoma Workshop, an exhaustive session that resonated deeply with regional ophthalmologists. The late-night case discussions were a testament to the enthusiasm and engagement fostered by the workshop.
As part of Project Khmat, we organized a Glaucoma Hands-on Workshop and the 'eyeLearn 2018' CME program, fostering interaction and knowledge exchange among ophthalmologists. Dr. Singh and Dr. Hegde eagerly anticipated engaging with the local ophthalmic community, laying the groundwork for sustainable collaboration.
Project Khmat signifies our inaugural steps into Meghalaya, epitomizing our commitment to bringing accessible eye care to underserved regions. Through collaboration with Bansara Eye Care, we aim to empower local ophthalmologists, fostering a lasting impact on eye health in Shillong and beyond.
