Empowering Villages with Quality Eye Care
In October 2019, The Vision Mission (TVM) embarked on a mission to Bihar, India, under Project Akhiyan. Collaborating with Sri Sai Lions Netralaya (SSLN) in Patna, TVM aimed to adopt 10 villages to provide comprehensive eye care services. This initiative included sponsoring 500 free cataract surgeries, conducting a regional Continuing Medical Education (CME) program, and facilitating clinical case reviews and skills transfer.
